billis777 Posted July 4, 2020 Posted July 4, 2020 I'm worrying i will eventually not have free alphabet letters available and not being able to use additional usb sticks, usb blue ray players etc. Is there a workaround? Quote
0 Shane Posted July 4, 2020 Posted July 4, 2020 You can add drives to a pool without needing to give them a letter, and you can add/remove the letters from drives that are already in a pool without affecting the pool. So you could have for example: C: (operating system drive) D: (drivepool virtual drive) +--> thirty drives with no letters +--> ten drives with letters E through N P:, Q:, U: (three usb drives) R: (bluray drive) Cheers. 0 billis777 Posted July 4, 2020 Author Posted July 4, 2020 Thank you! After i remove it, is there a way to see or access that hdd on its own? Quote
0 Christopher (Drashna) Posted July 5, 2020 Posted July 5, 2020 You can do this: https://wiki.covecube.com/StableBit_DrivePool_Q4822624 This hides the letters, and keeps the drives accessible. aaronsomek 1 Quote
