Soaringswine Posted August 20, 2018 Posted August 20, 2018 Hi, I know rclone can utilize something like PG Blitz (https://plexguide.com/news/wiki/pg-blitz-instructions/) or Supertransfer2 (https://plexguide.com/wikis/supertransfer2/) to bypass Gsuite Business's 750 GB / daily upload limit, could this be implemented in Clouddrive or would it be too much work? 0 Christopher (Drashna) Posted August 20, 2018 Posted August 20, 2018 It looks like this is using multiple accounts to bypass the limit.... And if that's the case, then get multiple accounts, create multiple drives, and pool them together. Quote
0 darkly Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 To add on this, keep in mind that team drives have a hard limit of 400,000 files or folders and can only be nested to 20 layers of directories. I don't think the 20 layer limit would affect CloudDrive much, but the 400,000 file limit would cause issues as your drive grows, I'd imagine. Quote
0 Christopher (Drashna) Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 Yeah, the 400,000 file limit would impose hard limits on the size, based on the storage chunk size, so it would be an issue. Also, you can't mount the drives at multiple locations, either. Quote

Can you expand on this statement, specifically on the "pool them together"? Creating multiple accounts is not a problem, and the ability to upload more than 750 gb/day for not a large increase in my cost with more gsuite accounts is VERY appealing. Quote

Pretty sure what Christopher meant was to get a copy of Stablebit Drivepool, so you can take multiple Clouddrive drives and combine them into a single larger volume. It makes multiple disks look like one larger disk, and works seamlessly with Clouddrive. Quote

This is great software. Christopher (Drashna) 1 Quote
