  2. Yup. How they work, and how Windows handles them, ESPECIALLY over a network. That looks right. That depends on how you move the data, but yeah, this is likely what will happen. If you move data from volume to volume, this is what happens. You only get the "smart move" if the data is on the same volume. If the SSD Optimizer is enabled for that pool, yes.

  3. They did offer an RMA, but ups ground shipping was going to cost me almost $90 so it’s going to the town dump instead. I have other arrays I’m using now and would rather use the money for the sas setup I’m planning on moving to.
