albur Posted October 19, 2021 Posted October 19, 2021 Hi, my cache doesn't clear automatically, so when it reachs the maximun size it gets slower. I would like to clear local cache every night with task manager, is there a way to do this? thanks Quote
0 igobythisname Posted December 11, 2021 Posted December 11, 2021 I'd like to learn more about the cache drive too; I've only seen my cache drive clear on it's own once since I started using CloudDrive few weeks ago; it seems the cache drive not clearing is a serious concern because if you shutdown/restart, then it wants to go through and check the entire cache and I think try to re-upload stuff that already uploaded Quote
0 Christopher (Drashna) Posted December 13, 2021 Posted December 13, 2021 That's intential. It should use as much cache is set. Also, "to-upload" cache can exceed the set amount, if the type is set to expandable (default). You can set a fixed size if you want to make sure that it doesn't grow past a set size, no matter what. 0 dval14 Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 Chris, can it be set to use as much space as available in the write cache drive? It seems to be doing that but then it crashes because the cache drive ran out of space (e.g. it can cache faster than it can upload to the cloud (even at GigE upload speed). Can it be set to use all available space except X GB. Quote
