Glauco
Hi, I have folder set to duplication, and I'd like to remove subfolders from duplication, but using wildcard. For example, /folder1 (2x) /folder1/subfolderX/rejected /folder1/subfolderX/selected /folder1/subfolderY/rejected /folder1/subfolderY/selected /folder1/subfolderZ/rejected /folder1/subfolderZ/selected I what to remove all "rejected" subfolders from duplication. Is it possíble? I know I can go through each of the and remove, but there are too many of them. Thanks.
0 Christopher (Drashna)
Not through the UI, aside from manually, which may be very, very time consuming. However, the "dpcmd" utility should have an option to do this.
0 Glauco
Yes, I do have many "rejected" folder all over the place. It will indeed take me a lot of time to remove them. If I can do it via command line, it would be fine for me. Thanks
0 Glauco
So, any clues? Is there a documentation on this "dpcmd" command?
0 Jonibhoni
Actually, I just tried it and I find the command-line documentation quite comprehensive. If you have DrivePool 2.X installed, just open a command prompt with admin rights and type dpcmd set-duplication-recursive A help will be shown with examples etc. Seems like indeed this tool can help you with your task.
