Why is the Drivepool GUI so different from other Windows programs

I've been wondering about this for some time now and today I ran into a major omission that left me baffled. Maybe I just overlooked it but I went to check what version I had and could not find it anywhere. In most Windows programs it's under Help -> About which is totally missing from Drivepool.... Or maybe I didn't see it?

It's at the bottom of the GUI. Right under the green bar for Pool Organization.

Yup, the version is displayed prominently at the bottom of the UI.

ACK!!! I must be blind.

Not a problem.  And yeah, if you're not sure where you're looking for stuff, it can get overwhelming.

 

 

 

Also, worst case, you can always check the control panel's "uninstall" list, as it should list the version.  Or .... you can check the actual EXEs, as the version information is embedded into them as well.
