Can't add drive - No suitable local cache drive found.

Question

Posted

Just installed on a Windows 2012 64bit server and get the following error when trying to create a drive:

No suitable local cache drive found. There must be at least one fixed drive in the system formatted with the NTFS file system.

I have a fixed drive formatted using NTFS..

Any help would be great, thanks.

Check your device manager and make sure the chipset driver is loaded.

Thanks for the reply - checked and yes, C200 chipset drivers loaded fine.
