RobbieH
Hey, I'm getting a whole bunch of oplock request denied errors when trying to duplicate my sql server files. It appears to be causing the duplication to stop, pool organization bar is stuck in the middle. Can I not duplicate my SQL directory? 0 Christopher (Drashna)
Stop the SQL server, enable duplication and duplicate the files. Once that's done, start the service back up. We cannot duplicate files when they are locked. And by "cannot", there is no good way to do this and guarantee their integrity and ensure they're in sync, while they're in use. Once they are duplicated however, any modification should happen both all copies. This applies to virtual hard drives, as well (such as for HyperV or VMWare Workstation).
