You can also install StableBit DrivePool 2.X on any of the following operating systems:

  • Windows Home Server 2011
  • Windows Small Business Server 2011 Essentials
  • Windows Storage Server 2008 R2 Essentials

You must first remove any 1.X versions of StableBit DrivePool using the Dashboard and then reboot your computer before installing StableBit DrivePool 2.X.

StableBit DrivePool 2.X does not provide any Dashboard integration like StableBit DrivePool 1.X.

See Users Manual Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008 (and R2), Windows 8, Windows Server 2012

It has some *very* basic intergration. It adds a "Manage DrivePool" link to the "Additional Tasks" in the Storage Tab.

The added bonus with 2.x is that you can install it on your desktop/client computer and use it to remotely control/manage the pool that way. No need to open the dashboard.
