What would happen with my data on the CloudDrive on my "umlimited" G Suite Drive if  Covecube Inc. as a company would fail as a business in the coming years and would have to close shop so to speak?

Even in the worst case scenario, you could access the data in an unlicensed state, as mentioned by the Licensing page:

And worst case, we'd release an update that removed the activation, or at least changed how it was handled.  That way, you'd still have access to your data.

 

 

 

That said, we don't have any plans on "going belly up", and are doing at least "okay" financially. Additionally, we have multiple other products planned for the future, as well as a subscription based service (which we think will be pretty awesome), which will (at least help) keep the lights on (so to speak).
