Scanner barely usable, high CPU


Question

I have an IcyBox 3810u3 (10disk USB unit) that is working great for me. But both the Scanner service and the UI are lagging so much, that I can barely use it. I did manage to do a full scan on 10 drives, but that took almost 2 days.. removing the temp and disk pool columns helps for the most part but the scanner still freezes.

 

Running Windows 10.
