PossumsDad
Is scanner development getting closer to being able to access the smart data on NVMe drives? Thanks Phil Antoineki
Christopher (Drashna)
Once we have a stable release out for StableBit DrivePool, then Alex plans on going through the backlog of feature requests and bugs. that should be "soon", but I don't have a specific date. Christopher (Drashna)
You're very welcome. And hopefully, this will be added rather soon. that said, I do have an NVMe drive, so at least we have a testing platform, which makes things easier. HellDiverUK
Just a word of warning - not all NVMe drives behave the same as regards SMART. During the unRAID development process, the beta testers (me included) did a lot of work regarding NVMe - for example the Samsung SM961 gives totally different readings compared to the Samsung 950 Pro, Intel's 600p something different, and my really odd-ball ADATA SX8000 gave something different again.
