After I installed KB5054979 Windows 11 update my drivepool is missing. I can see the non-pooled drives, but not the pool and no way to create or do anything with them. How would I fix this? edit: I uninstalled the update. That did not solve the problem.
The solution was to add drive letters to the drives in the pool. And then (only) one of the drives popped up as as an available non-pooled drive. When I clicked add the entire pool came back online. (aside: it gave an error - cannot add drive to pool twice but whatever happened caused reinitialization)
