Any way to cache directory listings?

Hello! I have been using DP for almost a month now and absolutely love it...  HOWEVER...

 

I have 65 TB pooled from 16 drives. Each time I go into explorer (I have been using xyplorer for 10 years and this wont even change) and click on a folder, I must wait about 30 seconds to load the directory listings with (Not Responding) on top. Same thing when I want to save a file from a program. I have torrents seeding from all 16 HDD's and sometimes utorrent times out when adding new torrents. 

 

So my question, is there an option to be able to properly cache all the directory listings so it wont need to do it most times I try to access it?

do you have the HDD set to spin down?

This might actually be a reason. Normally I have that set to 2 hours and they pretty much always stay on because of the torrents but I re-formated two weeks ago and never changed from the 20 minutes default.

In theory, NTFS should cache the listing already.  But that's entirely dependant on NTFS.

 

However, are you accessing the list over the network?
