jeraziah
I understand that you can't mount a cloud drive twice but would it be possible to have a read only client that can access the cloud drive contents while it's mounted on another machine? 17thspartan and Ginoliggime
0 Choruptian
From what I understand, you can even do this right now but if you were to write stuff to the Cloud Drive from one client at the same time as another client was reading the same data then it would experience an out-of-sync filesystem at times which to me doesn't really seem healthy. It's very difficult to synchronize this I imagine. I could foresee an option to mount a drive as read-only on both sides however.
0 Christopher (Drashna)
It's been requested. For now, it's not going to happen. It may in the future, but not at this time. The reason for that, is that doing this isn't an insignificant change. We would like to get the software out sooner rather than later. So we'll re-evaluate the request later, but not now.
