I'm on the latest beta 1653 but I can't enable read-only mode. It always fails with "access is denied" even when I check the force option. Any idea what I can do to make it work?

Thanks! I wasn't aware you could do that. I won't have enough time to download everything beforehand but I already moved everything important. There is still around 100TB media data left that I plan to move to local storage over the next 4 months.

I'm in the same boat.. currently testing unraid in a ghetto server build. I hope they give us a good amount of time to download the data.

What would be the anticipated behaviour of CloudDrive if the remote storage unexpectedly transitions to a read-only state?

looks like this SSHD is not compatible with CloudDrive and DrivePool: Seagate FireCuda SSHD 2TB SATA 6.0Gb/s 2.5 inch (ST2000LX001) I got 5 of them and the plan was to use one as cache disk for clouddrive and 4 with DrivePool for userdata. The perfomance with CloudDrive was so bad that (1-6MB/sec) I replaced it now with the 1TB SSD. Today I've setup the DrivePool with 4 of them but almost the same experience... 11MB/sec max transferspeed with 2x duplication. If I attach one of them with a USB3 (UASP) case I get 90-110MB/sec. Guess i'll return them all.

It worked without a problem. I used Macrium Reflect Free to the clone the disk. Before I cloned it I shrunk the partition of the 2TB drive to ~700GB, cloned it onto the SSD and expanded the partition. Cloud Drive worked immediately with the new drive.

Perfect. I'll try it tonight and let you know if it worked. I guess in the worst case I can plug the 2TB drive back in and wait until it finished uploading.

What do you mean by uninstalling the software? The reason why I want to clone it is because of the 300GB left to upload. My plan was to shutdown the system, remove the 2TB cache disk, clone it on the SSD, install the SSD in the system and power it back up. If there was nothing left to upload, I would detach the cloud drive, swap the HDD with the SSD and attach it again.

Is it possible to clone the cache drive? I made a horrible mistake and would like to move the cache drive to another disk. I have 300+GB left to upload on a 2TB Seagate FireCuda disk. The drive performs so bad that nothing else is possible while clouddrive is using it. Can I clone the drive/partition on to a 500GB SSD or will this cause problems?

I thought I could avoid the throttling by tweaking the CloudDrive.Service.exe.config settings but it seems they don't have any effect on the chunk discovery process.. Here is what I changed: IoManager_ReadThreads from 2 to 1 IoManager_HttpConnectionReadTimeoutMS from 100000 to 900000 but it still stops after 10ms.. If I could I detach the drive and re-attach it again but I got 800GB of data left to upload on the cache drive and I think it will be lost if I detach the drive now.

I had to reboot my server yesterday and since the reboot ACD is not able to mount my drive. Looks like it's a throttling issue. I understand that you can't mount a cloud drive twice but would it be possible to have a read only client that can access the cloud drive contents while it's mounted on another machine?

Quick question, if for some reason the development of CloudDrive stopped and a cloud provider does changes to its API so that CloudDrive stops working. Is there any Plan B for users to access the cloud drive in any way?
