mh272
Hi, I am trialing drivepool, I added 3 disks to a pool, once of which had data. The pool drive does not show the files that are on one of the disks, yet the space is taken if you look at total size/space free in windows. What have I done wrong? 0 weezywee
You need to show hidden files and move the files into the poolpart folder.
0 mh272
Thanks for that. So, I am assuming every file I add to the pool will go into these hidden folders? Also, can I change the drive letter of the pool? Don't see an option to do it in drivepool itself, but could I do it through windows disc management? Or would this mess things up? 0 Christopher (Drashna)
You need to show hidden files and move the files into the poolpart folder. Specifically, this: http://wiki.covecube.com/StableBit_DrivePool_Q4142489 Thanks for that. So, I am assuming every file I add to the pool will go into these hidden folders? Also, can I change the drive letter of the pool? Don't see an option to do it in drivepool itself, but could I do it through windows disc management? Or would this mess things up? Yes, exactly. You do need to remeasure after moving the files around or the UI won't properly reflect the contents. And yes, you can change the drive letter of the pool (via Disk Management) without any issues. http://wiki.covecube.com/StableBit_DrivePool_Q6811286 Also, if you want to hide the other disks, you can do that: http://wiki.covecube.com/StableBit_DrivePool_Q4822624
