Local drive or only the directory?

For local storage of encrypted files I have choose the whole local drive or only the e.g. one directory?

My plan is to upload my encrypted files to different storage provider than you allow.

The encrypted drive shuold be unmounted before I will upload it to my storage provider?

Thank you in advance.

I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to ask here.

The encryption feature of StableBit CloudDrive is a full disk encryption. It actually encrypts the raw data blocks of the drive.

However, you can use folder/file encryption on StableBit CloudDrive as well. Or both.

But if you do want to use encryption at all, we do recommend using the full disk encryption method, as it's encrypted start to finish. (as soon as it hits the driver for the disk)
