DriveDuck
Is there a way to rename the label given during the creation of a new ClouDrive? I don’t mean the drive name itself but the name centered in the interface unter the PC/Server name.
0 Christopher (Drashna)
Detach the drive (Disk Options -> detach), and then re-attach the drive. This should let you re-label the drive.
0 DriveDuck
The drives in question are all part of a DrivePool. Since they are in use I get a "access denied" when trying to detach. Taking them out of the pool would mean that I have to re-upload 500GB each. Is there any other way to rename the label?
0 Christopher (Drashna)
Ah, okay, changing it "online". No, there isn't a way to do this currently, though it has already been requested. In the meanwhile, ... there really isn't a "good" way to do this. There should be a "force detach" option, that should detach it, even if the volume is in use (or you can use disk management to set it as "offline" first). Regardless, you'll get a missing disk notification in StableBit DrivePool when you do this.
