as the topic states I changed the pooled drives "drive letters" in Disk Management, but they didn't change in DrivePool. Now the pooled drives show up in DrivePool as the pooled drives with the old drive letters. They also show up as non-pooled drives with the new drive letters. They show up in Windows Explorer with the new drive letters. Windows 7.
In the screenshot you can see the drives listed in the pool with the old drive letters. The are also listed as non-pooled drives with the new drive letters.
I have tried deactivating and re-activating DrivePool, no difference. I have also deactivated and uninstalled DrivePool, then re-installed and re-activated it. No change.
I'm looking for help on getting DrivePool to recognize the pooled drives with the new drive letters.
I tried adding one of the drives in the non-pooled list and get an error telling me that I couldn't add the drive to the pool twice, so DrivePool seems to be recognizing the drive with both the old and new drive letters.
thanks,
monte
also, the drives show up in Disk Management with the new drive letters. but you probably already knew that since they show up in Windows Explorer with the new drive letters. just more information.
