I have 18 external drives connected to my pc via USB3 that are being managed by DrivePool.  Can I simply shuck those drives and put them into a couple JBOD enclosures connected to the same pc (also by USB3) and have them recognized by DrivePool without having to do anything else?

Some proprietary enclosures do weird stuff that prevents a drive from being readable if it's shucked and put in a standards-friendly enclosure, but so long as the drive can still be seen by Windows as normal then DrivePool should see it too.

Thank you, Shane.

Just so I'm understanding correctly... as long as Windows can see and use the drives in their new JBOD enclosure then it should recognize my already existing DrivePool, correct?  I wish I would have done this from the beginning but I would never imagined I would need this much storage.
