Bjur Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 Hi i have a question. I have used flexraid with drivepool. One of my drives died and have now restored it 2. If I want to move the files into a drivepool can I just move direct from drive to folder or should I move to the drivepool letter? Quote
0 Christopher (Drashna) Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 First, I'm sorry to hear about your drive dying. As for moving the files, yes, you can move the files directly into the "PoolPart" folder. The caveat is that you MUST remeasure the pool after doing so (open the UI, click on "Pool Options" and select "Remeasure"). If you don't do this, it can cause issues with the balancing engine, the duplication code, and the pool in general (where to place files, etc). Quote
0 Bjur Posted June 7, 2015 Author Posted June 7, 2015 Thanks for your answer. I have moved and remeasure but it still shows xxx gb as other. It's perhaps 25 % of the data. How do I fix and identify that? Quote
0 Christopher (Drashna) Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 Glad to hear that it finished measuring. If it continues to have issues measuring, then let us know. Quote
