No more Licensed (23,5 days still left)

GiuseppeChillemi

Question

Hi,

today I have installed a couple of additional drives to mypool drives after a bios cmos reset.

Drive Pool needed to activate (by transfering) my license due to "hardware change"

No internet connection has been found as my server has the lan cable unplugged and it asked me to copy and paste some string. I have cancelled the action.

I have plugged in the lan cable and iterned was there again.

I have tried to activate the license but after a successful transfer I have got this strange scenario

  1) Still 23,5 days of trial license

  2) The system ask me for an activation ID and no way to solve this situation

  Regards,

     Giuseppe Chillemi

Could you grab the contents of the "C:\ProgramData\StableBit DrivePool" folder, and upload it to us (via "https://stablebit.com/Contact")?

Also, could you get a memory dump of the service while it's in this state?

http://wiki.covecube.com/StableBit_DrivePool_Service_Memory_Dump

After doing that, could you try restarting the system, or restarting the "StableBit DrivePool Service (by running "services.msc", finding the service, right click on it and restart it).

If the issue doesn't go away after doing that, then let us know.

And either way, I've emailed a trial extension to you, which should fix the issue.

Otherwise, use the contact form to request a license deactivation.
