Disk Details showing old drive

Innocuous

Question

Hi,

I recently upgraded an old Samsung 2TB drive to a 4TB WD Red drive. For some reason DriveScanner has not registered the change in disk details, within the smart data functionality or disk interpretation rules.

Can anyone tell me how to force Scanner to refresh its information?

Jon

FYI - Disk Management seems to be getting the data ok from the drive.

That's odd. StableBit Scanner should automatically refresh the data.

Could you grab the error reports from the system, just in case?

Also, the easiest way to force it to refresh the data is to restart the StableBit Scanner service. Run "services.msc" to do so.

Innocuous,

Where did you send the logs to?

I don't see them on our box.com account (where the upload forms send them to), and I don't recall seeing a ticket about this.

Also, if restarting the service doesn't help.... then resetting the settings should definitely fix it. However, you'll lose all the settings for Scanner.
