First, are you running the most up to date version of StableBit DrivePool? (2.1.1.561)

Second,  when the Pool disappears, are the disks still present in the system? Check Disk Management (run "diskmgmt.msc").

Third, check for crash dumps:

http://wiki.covecube.com/StableBit_DrivePool_System_Crashes

Namely, check to see if "C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP" or if there is anything in "C:\Windows\Minidump\"

If they do, then upload using the above link.

Forth, do you have any antivirus installed (such as Avast) or any disk tools (such as imaging/backup tools, or disk defragmenters?)

No all the drives Still show up...i downloaded the lastested and installed it....but i think i found the problem.  I accidently put my C:/ (system) drive in the pool. As my pool filled the C drive up (as it appeared as far as i could tell to be the pools first choice to send things) the more unstable my system became i think.  Anyways i had to delete all my data a little at a time to remove the drive or it would hang and crash.  Whether i tried to to large deletes or removing disk....it wouldn't hang till i did it chunk by chunk and everything was gone.  Thankfully i run dual independant servers for just this kind of reason.  I am now transfering my files back and thus far the pool seems to hold and not crash every 5 minutes. I have about 12TB of data to move so it will take a day or two but should be a good stress test as to the pools stablity. i'll keep you in the loop if it crashes further i will hunt down my logs and up load them.  thanks for your help.  I think you generally have a great product ;)
