I want to replace my existing 2 port USB 3.0 card with a 5 port one. The problem is, all of my drives contained in the pool are connected to either of those usb ports which means, when I take out the old card, I will loose all of my pooled drives.
My question is, can I simply disconnect all the connected drives, replace the card and then reconnect all the drives to the new one and automatically regain access to the pool and the data? If not, what do I need to do to make this happen without resorting to significant interim data transfers to other PCs etc.?
