How do I remove a failing HD?????

I'm trying to remove a bad HD from a pool. I've scanned it with Windows and I've run chkdsk. Windows says the drive is OK but Drivepool refuses to remove it. Is the pool toast or is there a way to remove the drive without loosing it? There's enough free space in the pool to remove it.

Does DP say anything on _why_ it won't remove the HDD? Is the HDD to be removed almost empty already or does DP not move anything off of it?

Pretty sure your Pool will be fine. Just provide a bit more info on what DP is saying/doing.

check the log, 
Mine was stuck on a PDF. I deleted the PDF and drive removed easily!
