So I now have a stable DrivePool on my 2008sp2 32 bit file server. That is good.
But version 2.0x does not support symbolic links. That is bad.
But version 2.1x is out today and it apparently does support MkLink. That is good.
But I cant seem to install the upgrade manually. That is bad.
To be specific, there is no system tray icon to try to force an upgrade through the software. And when I manually run it, with or without elevated privileges, I get a fatal error, but only after the volume has unmounted. (I have to reboot to get it back).
Error log is pasted below. Any suggestions?
