Feature Request? Run a script when Scanner starts evacuting drives.

Question

I like the idea that drives are automatically evacuated in the event of a Scanner noted failure with the Scanner balancer.

But it would be nice to have the option to execute a user-defined script at the same time. To turn off scheduled backups and stop other tasks reading/writing to/from the pool.

Thanks. Yeah, I set up a specific email already for any home networking issues that arise that gives me notification on my phone. But ability to have it run a script would be great. I'll have to see if there's a way to intercept the email and have it automated to run a script, but that's likely beyond my technical abilities.

You can have it sent to a service like IFTTT or the like.

Also, if you have any programming skill, the status is stored in a custom structure in WMI, so you can read from that.  That's what StableBit DrivePool reads from, actually. And phpSysInfo actually has support for this.
