Windows 2016 Essentials 64 bit

RacerX

Question

Hello

I have been using the WHS 2011 Dashboard since 12/30/2013 for Drivepool and Scanner. Because of Specter and various other threats the time has come to move to Windows 2016 Essentials 64 bit,  I'm moving all my data right now to different boxes boxes,  I will replacing my 64gb SSD with a 256gb SSD, .  I have my email licenses for both products,  Is there anything else to keep in mind since this will be a fresh install to a different SSD. What is the latest version? I do not use the cloud....

Thanks

As long as the system drive isn't part of the pool, you can just move the pooled disks over, no problem.

Also, you'd want to deactivate the old system prior to decommissioning it, as that will let you activate the licenses on the new system without any issues.

Otherwise, you should be good to go.
