fast i/o Looping Reading Open Files

Not sure how to describe my issue, but will try my best.

The last few times I have moved files into my Pool, DP will continue to loop reading the same files (location is in grey, not dark blue).  It is using Fast I/O around .07% - 1.5% with Open Files fluctuating between 6-9 files in this specific situation.  I have done the usual remeasuring and re-balancing.  If I delete the files, the issue stops, but if I put the same files back into the same location the issue returns.  I found the files in the pool location on the physical drive, deleted the files, the pool then reduplicated the files and the issue returned.  Out of ideas.

I turned on "Enable file system logging" in anticipation of needing to send you logs.

I believe that you posted this in a ticket, as well.

 

For the looping, it may be that something is scanning or indexing the files. Antivirus may be causing it, in fact.

Also using "resmon" may be able to see what is causing the access.

 

Otherwise, yeah, enable logging, reproduce and send the data to us.
