Autostart issues with Server 2016

Background:

I have drive pool installed on a server 2016 Standard server. Currently drive pool has a pool consisting of 10 drives, a mix of SSD and HDD. All 10 drives and the boot drive are using bitlocker. All drive auto unlock with a TPM.

 

When I reboot my server the drives all show up as normal, but drive pool doesn't show the drives. If I restart the drive pool service the pool will start. I have set the drive pool service as delayed and still have the same issue. I do have the option for bitlocker set in the config file:

            <setting name="BitLocker_PoolPartUnlockDetect" serializeAs="String">
                <value>True</value>

 

Any ideas as to the solution?

You've posted this as a ticket, as well.

what version are you using specifically.  And if you could, upgrade to the public beta build, and see if that helps.

if it doesn't, enable boot logging, reboot and run the StableBit Troubleshooter;

Looks like moving to the BETA build did the trick. I even have the service back to the normal and not the delayed setting. I was on the current live version for anything looking.

 

Are there any limitations on the BETA build?

And no, there should be no issues or limitations running the beta version.
