chibender
I have 800GB uploaded of ~10GB files on GDrive. The Drive Size is 10TB. What is a reasonable timeframe? It has already been 45 minutes. Edit: I woke up this morning and the drive was mounted.
0 eldite
Are you talking about the block index database build? ... "this is a one-time operation..." .... I'm on a very quick connection and have about 20TB on a 64TB drive. I didn't sit and watch it, but I think it was a shade under 2 hours. 0 chibender
Thanks. I went to bed after 2 hours and woke up and it was mounted. Thanks!
0 srcrist
The indexing process, when it has to happen, can take a very long time. I have a drive that takes over 10 hours. It will complete eventually. You can use the service log under technical details to watch it, if you want to see some sort of indication of the progress. It will start at your highest numbered block and work its way down to 0. Fortunately, now that the bug that existed a few months ago is fixed, it very rarely has to reindex. 0 Christopher (Drashna)
And we've tweaked the indexing code to do much more at once, to make it quicker, as well.
