thepregnantgod
Drashna (or others), I am rebuilding a pool and I am experiencing something weird. There's a large portion of my pool that says "unusable for duplication" - like 4.16TB out of 14TB. Now, 3 of the drives (totaling 1.8TB) are SSD cache drives so I could understand that but why is so much unable to be used for duplication? 0 Christopher (Drashna)
Without seeing your drive layout, it is hard to tell. But this is likely do to differing drive sizes and usage. This is "fine", depending on your pool. Additionally, the "Duplication Space Optimizer" balancer will attempt to rebalance the data to remove the "Unusable for duplication" space.
