0 Christopher (Drashna) Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 Yes and no. Generally, it's not recommended, but you definitely can. Depending on which version you're using specifically, it may outright allow it, or you may need to enable an advanced setting to allow it.: http://wiki.covecube.com/StableBit_DrivePool_2.x_Advanced_Settings Set "CoveFs_AllowMixedFilesystems" to "True", and reboot the system. hyperspaced 1 Quote
0 hyperspaced Posted May 7, 2017 Author Posted May 7, 2017 Hello, I have a pool of 2 NTFS drives. I want to add a new ReFS drive. I enabled the value in the config file you specified and rebooted the system. However the UI does not list the ReFS drive in the 'Non-Pooled' list of drives. If I opt to create a new Storage Pool then the selection contains the ReFS drive. I am using version 2.2.0.742 beta. Quote
0 Christopher (Drashna) Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 Make sure that you removed the "default" from the file name. Also, it may be worth using a 3rd party text editor, such as Notepad++, as it may work better. That said, I've attached a copy of the config file that should work (I verified that it does appear to work). DrivePool.Service.exe.config hyperspaced 1 Quote
0 hyperspaced Posted May 8, 2017 Author Posted May 8, 2017 Renaming the .config file works just fine Quote
0 Christopher (Drashna) Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Ok, I figured that was the case, but I'd rather post the config file, just in case. hyperspaced 1 Quote
