RaestOz
Hi team, Love the product! Saved me a massive headache to consolidate drives + partitions. Noticed a weird issue though - installing games via XBox PC Gamepass. 1) Trying to set the install option in the app - kept defaulting back to the C drive 2) Installing a game and pointing it to the drivepool - fails with an error. Tried creating a directory on the pool and pointing the app to that to no avail. From what I've googled apparently it's not supported to use DrivePool + Xbox Gamepass? Is there anything in the pipeline to support this? Kind regards
0 Christopher (Drashna)
Unfortunately, no, not currently. The Windows apps (including XBOX apps) do some weird stuff that isn't supported on the pool. And adding support for it isn't trivial (it's likely some very low level file system implementation that may be very difficult to implement). That said, you *could* use StableBit CloudDrive and the local disk provider to create a drive on the pool, and install the games to that. Because it's emulated at the block level rather than the file system level (like StableBit DrivePool), it shouldn't have the issues with the Windows/XBOX Apps
