RulliDidd

Question

Hi

I just started using CloudDrive with google drive. I placed one file in the mounted disk I created. However CloudDrive app seems to be downloading a lot of data is this normal? If so why is it necessary to download the data I'm uploading ?

Regards

Yes.

More than likely, Upload Verification is enabled on the drive.

This feature "modifies" the upload process, and adds more "integrity checks".

Specifically, when uploading a chunk of data, it will then download and compare the chunk before moving on.  If the chunk matches, everything continues on, and may purge the data (as necessary). However, if it does not match, it re-uploads the chunk and repeats this entire process, all over again.

This does increase the download activity, though.  However, we do recommend leaving it enabled.
