DrivePool Trial License not functioning

elehemeare

Question

I've just installed DrivePool for evaluation and activated my trial license. However, after a reboot and relaunch, I'm still presented with the same options as prior to activating my trial: "Get a trial license or enter a retail license code", with a button prompting me for an activation ID.

What gives? Am I able to evaluate this software? I have never used any Covecube products in the past.

That's definitely unusual.  However, I think I know what is going on here.

Try restarting the computer, or restart the StableBit Drivepool Service.

To restart the service, run "services.msc", find the "StableBit DrivePool Service", right click on it and select "Restart".

if that doesn't help, try downloading the public beta build (as there are fixes to deal with licensing issues like this).
