tomm1313
Anyway to add stablebit scanner as a tab in the essentials dashboard like drivepool is for Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials?
0 Christopher (Drashna)
Yup. use the "WHS2011 installer": StableBit.Scanner_2.5.1.3062_Release.wssx You'll want to uninstall the current version first, though.
0 tomm1313
ahh damn. didnt realize it worked with 2012. thanks!
0 Christopher (Drashna)
Yup. And Microsoft doesn't make it very clear either. Windows Home Server 2011, Small Business Server 2011 Essentials, Storage Server 2008R2 Essentials and the Windows Server Essentials line (2012 or 2012R2) and 2012-2012R2 Standard/Datacenter with the Server Essentials Experience role all support the "WHS2011" installer. All of them use the "Windows Server Solutions" code, (the "wss" in "wssx" actually, where the "x" is probably for eXtension). It doesn't have the stand alone UI (but if you make a copy, you can copy it back, and it should work just fine)
