I'm running a 4-bay HP Pro Liant micro server, all bays are in use.
In near future I'll have to add new storagespace...
On my old serversystem (Windows Home Server V1) i could add a new (bigger) disk even in a external USB-case, add it as pooldisk.
After that it didn't matter how this Disk was connected to the server, (external/internal) it was always indentified right (by drivename ?)
How ist this Item handeld in DrivePool?
if I add a new (bigger) Hdd in an external USB-case to the pooled disks and remove a used (smaller) disk from the pool to get a bay in in my server free,
will the (external) added HDD run without problems in the internal bay when i change them ?
