How long should it take to scan?

I'm scanning a 14TB USB drive in a TerraMaster enclosure and after 12 hours it's only at 38%.

Is this normal for an initial scan?

That's roughly 120 MB/s, which (checking) is about the same as what I get on an internal 12TB SATA HDD that benchmarks at roughly 250 MB/sec sustained, so magic 8-ball says it seems likely?
