Error, directory name invalid

MEtaLpREs

Question

Been using drivepool for a couple years, never had any issues, last week i started getting an error saying

"Error
Ensure file duplication consistency on "DrivePool (P:\)
The directory name is invalid"

the pool is no longer duplicating any files, if I try to force duplication it throws that error. Cant find anything saying what specific directory is invalid, tried removing and re-adding all drives, tried uninstalling, reinstalling drivepool, ran chkdsk on all drives with no errors found on any.  Could really use some advice to get this working again before a drive dies and I start losing data.

service log is showing this every time the error occurs, have FsControl set for verbose, but still only shows "Information", not sure if that's normal.

Have not heard back from Stablebit support yet, but was able to resolve the issue.  Apparently one or more of the drives had a corrupted $RECYCLE.BIN folder that was causing the error.  Just deleted all the recycle bin folders off all the drives, rebooted and now everything is working perfect.  hopefully if anyone else has a similar problem in the future this will help you.
