I received a response from CrashPlan:

    "Hello Jon,
Thank you for contacting our Champion Support Team.
It looks like the CrashPlan app is restarting your backup unexpectedly, it is actually running a file verification scan. The scan puts ALL of your data in the To Do list. Then as the backup after the scan runs, its analyzes your files to determine if it has been backed up before and can be skipped, or if its new/changed and needs to be backed up. The percentage complete that you see is CrashPlan's progress through the current To Do list, not the overall backup.
The scan is an important and normal part of CrashPlan's scheduled activities, but it can also be triggered by several events. To read more, click on the link below:
http://support.code42.com/CrashPlan/Latest/Troubleshooting/Is_My_Backup_Starting_Over The explanation for the lengthy time estimation relates to how CrashPlan prioritizes files for backup. CrashPlan backs up your most recent changes first. When the scan finds new files for backup, these files go straight to the top of CrashPlan's “to do” list. This impacts the estimated time to complete backup because the estimate is based on the type of files the scan is reviewing (i.e., new or existing) and your current network speed.
If you have any further CrashPlan questions or concerns, or need clarification please do not hesitate to reach out.
    Best Regards,
    Champion Support Specialist"

This seems to be the case.  The number of files sent match up but the total percentage is still off even after a FULL manual file scan. (that normally only happens every 30 days)
Things should sort themselves out over time after the complete verification "To Do" list is done.

I'm still using the same Case/Power supply but I've since upgraded to a new Motherboard/CPU/RAM/Graphics card. (and new 8TB Red Drives)
The reason I upgraded was because of random Blue Screen of Death reboots.    After I upgraded nearly everything I STILL had frandom BSoD issues!   Long story short, it ended up being a BAD DisplayPort Cable!    New DisplayPort cable, and all problems went away.   (expensive troubleshooting!)

    Yes.

I've done this on several production machines already (my NVR/blueiris box, specifically), and have had no issues with it, at all.

Windows 10 is supposed to be really good about driver support, so there may not be any issues. But compiling with the Windows 10 SDK means that we can be sure of that, and it may reduce the driver's resource usage on Windows 10, and could make it faster when dealing with files.  There may also be new API's to use that are better.

You're probably safe, but I'd still hold off just in case.  Besides, we have a full year to perform the upgrade. So there is no rush.

I wouldn't do it if your system is mission critical.   I'm chomping at the bit to do the upgrade myself (I have it on every other PC in the house) but my server has my home videos, my PLEX server, etc., and my family would kill me if that went down, so I'm not going Win10 until Alex or Christopher say its good to go!  :-)

Unfortunately, the SDK didn't "drop" until today as well, so we've not been able to do anything, with regards to supporting Windows 10.

    http://www.pcauthority.com.au/News/367061,samsung-launches-1tb-ssd-for-ultrabooks-and-tablets.aspx

Samsung brings 1TB of storage to the mSATA form factor for the first time.
Samsung is pushing SSD capacities to new heights with the launch of a 1TB drive in the compact mSATA form factor.
Samsung claims it's the first company to offer a terabyte of storage in this form factor, which is normally deployed in devices such as ultra-slim laptops and tablets. The drive is around a quarter of the size of a regular 2.5in SSD drive, and at 3.85mm it's less than half the thickness. It weighs a mere 8.5g.
The drive, which forms part of the company's 840 EVO mSATA SSD line-up, will be launched later this month. Samsung is keeping mum on the price for now, but one thing is certain: it won't be cheap.
The drive will also be available in 120GB, 250GB and 500GB versions and is capable of sequential read and write speeds of 540MB/sec and 520MB/sec respectively, according to the company.
Furthermore, Samsung claims its bundled Magician 4.3 software can push read speeds past the 1,000MB/sec mark, although we'll wait until we see one in the Labs before endorsing such lofty claims.

    Kayot,

The main thing that keeps DrivePool from running on XP is the driver we use for the pool.
And as for what keeps us from writing an XP driver for DrivePool is that XP has exited mainstream support in 2009, and it's hitting End of Life in almost six months:
    http://support.microsoft.com/lifecycle/?p1=3223
    (April 2014)

By the time we have a fully stable version, the OS will cease getting even critical security updates.

Very small, and likely fairly power efficent (especially compared to mine).
And I'm glad that you're using a POWERED USB hub.
