  1. It looks like today the download speeds are much better.  I just need to figure out the best settings to get media to start streaming a little quicker.  Right now it takes about 20 seconds before media starts playing but it plays great once it does start.  Anybody have any suggestions on setting changes for Prefetching etc?

  2. Is there a setting that I can change in Stablebit to get better download speeds?  I am getting 400Mbit/s upload to google drive using my gbit server which is amazing but when it comes to downloading anything, I get around 6 to 8 Mbit/s which is definitely to slow for my purpose.  I have upload threads set to only 3 and am achieving these speeds but I changed my download threads to 10 but it doesn't seem like the program ever bumps it up past 3 or 4 max download threads.  I'm using build .410

  3. Yea, I can't use stablebit cloud drive for amazon on either of my three systems.  They all just throw errors and never upload anything.  I have tried creating new drives with the same issue.

  4. Thank you. That definitely does clear it up, and I'll let Alex know.

I know that Alex did to a lot of testing when it came to "graceless"? shutdowns during development, specifically to prevent any sort of corruption issues.

But this could be caused by a change in the code (since the deadlock issue was a big one, it' wouldn't surprise me).

Well, backwards compatibility is important for us.

As for a new version, that really depends.  The newer version of the Amazon Cloud Drive provider should be stable and reliably (at least as reliable as the backend on Amazon's side).

As for the errors, is this with a newly created cloud drive or one from an older version?

I ask, because we do have two different ones now (a depreciated one and the newer one).

This is happening with a freshly created drive with the newest application version.

  5. Should we just stop using this product until a new version is released?  Do we risk losing our current stablebit drives due to being incompatible with any future updates?

    This is verison 1.0.0.378

  6. Do you have some "recommended" settings that I could try?  I currently use netdrive with my amazon cloud drive but it doesn't have built in encryption.  I can upload at a constant 50 to 90MB/s to the amazon cloud drive with netdrive.  I am sure I can reach close to those speeds with Stablebit CloudDrive I just need to tweak some performance settings.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S.  I am running a 1gbit connection with 4 Hard drives and 32GB of memory.

  7. I keep getting this error when trying to add a amazon cloud drive.  When I click advanced and select the drop down for the cache drive nothing is shown.  I have 3 hard drives in this system all formated as NTFS and none of them show in Stablebit cloud drive.
