After searching around I did see the reason(no partial reads). However at a 1MB file size it makes this unusable. If i had larger chunks i could at least attempt to use this even if it is slower.
-
I can only make up to 1MB chunks with Onedrive for business. Is there a reason for this? I hit some sort of throttle limit in an extremely small amount of data.

Does the feature "Read-only" make mounting on two devices more feasible? Lets say machineA has full read/write but machineB is read only.
-
Unfortunately this did not help. There is at least one unmount a day. Peaking at the logs i couldnt really tell "why" its happening.
-
I will give this a shot. Thanks

I get disconnected from my google drive about once a day. I only have to click retry and it reconnects. Is there anyway to make this happen automatically.

I am trying to find the sweet spot for streaming media. We have a large prefect which appears to work but a short prefetch time. Does the prefetch data just move to the cache when its done? We also have a large cache.

Yep i have this issue also. Was on my to post list but you beat me

I have to re authorize every time. Are you getting prompted for that?
-
I guess that is what i disagree with. I basically have it working already, just have to do a few tricks that could be built in. Its probably more a user experience they are worried about.

OK, yes.... I am fully aware this has been asked over and over. And yes.... I am fully aware you guys keep saying no. However, I feel we are SOOOO CLOSE to working out of box. I have two computers that i have clouddrive installed. I made one cloud drive and attached both, with one of them having zero upload threads(My read only box). This works, and it works nearly the way i want it to. Yes both are not writing but that is OK. If i write to the drive on the box that has upload, I dont see the new data as the file structure is pinned and doesn't refresh on the read only box. A quick wor

This worked guys. Thx! My use case was i was moving files onto the drive then extracting them. Just worked into my workflow better. But i didn't want to uploaded the compressed files re-download them to extract them then upload the extracted files.

just wanna say this patch is AMAZING!

So....... Whats your guys opinion on using this instead of NTFS?

Working on .634 Thanks

I missed the part about white listing. Appears to work after doing that. *EDIT* Spoke to soon. When i name my connection I get an error. Error connecting to Amazon Cloud Drive Security error. *EDIT2* Just to note the app i created is in the 3rd party apps under settings in my amazon cloud drive with the following. This connection allows access to: Ability to modify your Cloud Drive content. Ability to read your Cloud Drive content.

Saw the change log about the new amazon cloud drive, however i am having trouble connecting. I have provided the Client ID and Secret and provided the return url as Allowed Return URLs https://stablebit.com/Redirect/AmazonCloudDrive but i get the following Oops... An error has occurred while processing your request. Show Details Controller: Redirect Action: AmazonCloudDrive System.Data.Entity.Validation.DbEntityValidationException: Validation failed for one or more entities. See 'EntityValidationErrors' property for more details. at

So month and month ago. i could never get my CloudDrive to connect to my One Drive for Business. Well it works now so that is nice. However something i noticed was the max chunk size was 1MB while a lot of the other providers i have played with go way way higher. Is there some sort of limitation on One drive for Business?

I will keep an eye on it. It was win 10 using the latest beta. Next time it happens i am going to also see if i can steal the ram back to an app that needs it or if its really just completely used up for a "Mapped File"
-
Could you explain a bit how CloudDrive uses ram? I was out of my 8 GB and ran RamMap(sysinternal) and it was being used by a "Mapped File" that was the cloudpart\cache0 file. I moved the data so it didnt have to upload anymore and cleared local cache and all my ram was freed up. It was using 6GB.

Well i might try to sign up for a google for work account. Tired of amazon. Its weird normally their customer service is top notch.

Can't beat em, join em. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

How are all these other tools that are popping up on github that access ACD not having the same issue? for example https://github.com/yadayada/acd_cli *EDIT* Actually upon reading a bit into it i think they are approved. Just baffled as why the hell you guys cant get approved.

What is the harm in giving us a few more threads for amazon? I used the old build that didnt have the 2 thread cap and it worked great. However you guys kept adding new features that eventually i said ok i gotta upgrade. I am as made at amazon as everyone else but really if i just had a few more threads problem solved for me.
