Install the drives on the new system. Install and activate StableBit DrivePool on the new system. Ideally, you would want to turn on the old system, and deactivate the license first. If you are able to. If not, then no worries. Just head to https://stablebit.com/Contactand let me know. We can deactivate the license from our end. Aside from that, that's literally all you need to do. The data is stored on normal, NTFS drives, and hidden by default. The software looks at all of the drives in the system for the pool structure and will automatically rebuild the pool on the new system. Duplication settings and data will be retained, but balancing settings (including File Placement Rules) won't be, though. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
