stevelon
I'm not sure what new features are available in the proposed 2.2 release. Is it worth upgrading now to the latest 2.2 beta? Will CoveFS ever support USN Journaling. This would make pool drives fully usable by the wonderful "Everything" search program. Many thanks for suggestions and answers. 0 Christopher (Drashna)
Well, the only feature added is ReFS support. Otherwise, it's primarily bug fixes. Though, I'd recommend grabbing the 2.2.0.734 beta (internal beta) if you do want to use the beta version (due to issues with measuring, primarily) As for USN Journalling, I can't really comment on that. Of course, we'd love to add it, but I'm not really sure how complex it will be to implement it. It may be very hard to do so, or require a significant overhaul to the driver, to do so. Alex does on looking into it, but that will only happen after StableBit CloudDrive is released. (due to limited resources, namely time). And by "complex", I mean, at a simple guess, it will be as complex as adding reparse point support, at a minimum. And that was no small thing, either.
