How to cancel pending downloads?

Hi, I have 98GB worth of uploads that didn't make the cut before the end of my grace period with Google Drive. Now CloudDrive is struck trying to upload into a read-only drive. How do I safely cancel/delete these pending uploads? There's one thread from 2017 on this topic without a public answer.

The simplest option is to set the upload threads to 0.  This will effectively disable the uploading, though data can still be written to locally.   

Also, I don't think that the read only option will work, since I believe that requires clearing the upload cache first.  But you can use diskpart to mark the disk as "read only".

To do so, open a command prompt with admin rights and run: 
 

diskpart
list disk
select disk X
attributes disk set readonly

Where "X" is the disk number for the clouddrive disk.

Thanks, clearing the upload cache first sounds like what I really want to do in order to free up local caching assigned to what didn't get uploaded.

Well, clearing the cache requries uploading the data.  So if you can't do that ...
