Scanner not identifying drives properly?

Wellfooled

Question

Just got around to identifying which drive is in which bay on my server, and wanted to update Stablebit Scanner with the proper locations. That's when I realized that Scanner is telling me that I have three Western Digital 2TB drives, when in fact I have one WD, one Samsung, and one Seagate drive. It is true that I have in the past had three WD drives in the server, but that is no longer the case. I've tried pinging each drive to see if that will update the drive info, but it doesn't. So, is there something I'm missing that will force Scanner to see what drives are really there?

Could you restart the system or the StableBit Scanner Service (via "services.msc")?

If that's not updating the disks, could you open the SMART details for one of the disks, and check the "Submit to BitFlock" option. Wait until it generates an ID and post that here (or PM it to me).

Also, what controller are these drives attached to? (a Silicon Images card, by chance?)

Regards
