  1. Hi Ian, Yes, I have read them and it is a shame that Amazon is not living up to it's potential or even brand name. However, I am not seeing any "no, let's leave this" or "now let us pursue this in another way", hence the question. I for one is very happy now after fiddling around with the setup to get everything working according to expectation, but the throttling is somewhat bothersome. BR Fredrik
  2. Any news or progress on getting Amazon from Experimental to ordinary, I.e. getting out of developer mode? BR Fredrik
  3. edit 2: Ok, sorry for being a bit slow, but is it so that I need to stop the service every time before a shut-down or reboot? Am i then to assume it is the "Stablebit Clouddrive Shutdown Service" that should be stopped (which is as logic as pressing the old start-button on Windows XP )
  4. This is a good question. I have a similar problem - I always wait until the GUI has no activity in it before shutting down the computer. However 2/3 times It goes into recovery and re-uploads the cache on 200GB. Not sure if I need to detach the drive every time instead? /F edit: according to the log, it is due to "unsafe shutdown".
  5. Drashna, Tried the latest version and it seems to work well. Initial download seems delayed (I.e. start a film, wait <=7seconds before any type of download of information starts), however I now almost max my line accordingly (it fluxuates between 120-180mbit/s) . Cheers! /F
  6. Ah, so basically this is not an issue with the software itself. Instead it is (in this case) Amazon? Would be interesting to see some stats on the usage.
  7. Hi, First off - I love the solution that is created with Clouddrive. I have this solution mounted with Plex where the clouddrive is connected to Amazon Cloud Drive, and apart from it disconnecting from time to time, it is working fairly well. However I would like to have some input on how to optimize Plex and/or Clouddrive in order to get a stable viewing session. My current setup is 250/100 Down/Up, I have all movies converted to M4V format thus being able to play natively on the different ipads/computers/TV's in the house (direct viewing instead of transcoding). However when I try to view a movie the download starts very slowly and often download doesn't go over 25-30mbit/s. I am able to max the line when uploading, but downloading is no go. Any suggestions would be appreciated. BR Freppa Edit: Perhaps should add that I put (following recommendation in another thread) pre-fetching to 1mb, forward to 400mb and time to 300sek (not sure what the last one does)
